Badminton Coaching Program
Level of Coaching
Beginners Level - 1
  • The basic level is for students with little or no exposure to badminton.
  • At this level students will learn the basics of badminton in a professional and comprehensive manner with fun activities. This session will enable students to develop a love for the sport.
  • 2 to 7 hours of badminton training per week, 2 to 5 days a week.
  • 1-2 hours of fitness related activities
Amateur Level - 2
  • This level is for beginner/advanced beginner level of students.
  • The students will learn techniques for various badminton shots such as clears, drops, smashes, net shots, lifts, defense and improve on footwork drills. This session will determine whether the student enjoys the game and would like to go to the next levels.
  • 4.5 to 7 hours badminton training per week, 3 to 5 days a week.
  • 2 hours of fitness training.
Junior Professional Level - 3
  • This level is for advanced beginner/intermediate level of students.
  • This program is targeted to students who have potential to reach Senior Professional Level and enable them to play at school and regional level.
  • 14 hours of badminton training per week, 6 days a week.
  • 6 hours of fitness training per week.
  • 4 hours of other sports related activities aimed at improving their skills and mental health.
Senior Professional Level - 4
  • This level is for advanced level of students.
  • This program is targeted to more serious athletes who would like to go that extra mile in order to reach National/International standards.
  • 22 hours of badminton training per week, 6 days a week.
  • 8 hours of fitness training per week.
  • 4 hours of other sports related activities aimed at improving their skills and mental health.

Advanced Level

5:00 PM to 6:30 PM - Rs. 18,000 / Quarter (includes 6-hrs per week of fitness sessions by a professional fitness coach from Fit-O-Sport or Mr. Riaz at YMCA, Chennai - Compulsory)
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Rs. 22,500 / Quarter (Additional charges for 6-hrs per week of fitness sessions by Mr. Riaz at YMCA, Chennai - Compulsory)
Professional Level
Monday through Friday
10:00 AM to 12:00 PM plus 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM - Rs. 31,500 / Quarter (Additional charges for 6-hrs per week of fitness sessions by Mr. Riaz at YMCA, Chennai - Compulsory)
Weekends
Beginners (Below 12 Yrs)
3:15 PM to 4:45 PM (Sat) & 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM (Sun) - Rs. 5250 / Quarter
Beginners And Intermediates (Above 12 Yrs)
4:30 PM to 6:00 PM (Sat) & 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM (Sun) – Rs. 5250 / Quarter
