Siva hails from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He has completed his Doctorate, Ph.D in Geology, from Anna University, Chennai. He started playing Table Tennis only during his college days. His dedication to this game made him to perform well in intercollegiate tournaments (Runnerup in Madras University Zone in 2006). He was a topper in International Program for Coaching (ITTF Level 1) conducted at Siliguri, India, headed by Mr. Christian Lillieroos (USA). He is very passionate about his studies and table tennis. His strength lies in his belief that he knows how to balance between academics and sports efficiently, and he could take it to the players he is coaching. Now that he has reinvented himself as a full-time coach his resolve is to take his students where they can’t take themselves. He coaches all passionate players from different age groups ranging from school, college, corporate and veterans. To his credit, in short span of time, he has produced many players from Tejesh Sports, playing at open school, district and state level tournaments.
He is also Founder of CHENNAI PASSION TABLE TENNIS, a venture to promote and nurture talents in Table Tennis in Chennai.
