Tennis Coaching Program
- Tennis is one of the most popular individual sports in the world. The modern game of tennis is played by millions in clubs and public places. While tennis can be enjoyed by players of practically any level of skill, top competition is a demanding test of both shot making and stamina, rich in stylistic and strategic variety.
- Chennai’s Tennis Connection, of the few players from the Indian subcontinent had really made it big at the international level and incidentally, three of them belong to Chennai. They are legendary Ramanathan Krishnan, Ramesh Krishnan and Vijay Amirtraj. Chennai is fondly called as the tennis capital of India.
- Our tennis academy is in existence since 2012. Our program is designed to help every child, no matter their age or ability, jump in and start playing tennis.
Mr. Prakash
Over 15 years’ experience in coaching at professional levels. Previously worked at Brittannia Amritraj Tennis Academy, Sigarampillai Tennis Academy, and Pro-Tennis Initiative.

- Nirmal
Nirmal has been coaching at Tejesh Sports Tennis Centre since 2012. He is an ITF Level 1 certified coach. Nirmal assists Prakash with various efforts such as development of Junior tennis programs and hitting with Intermediate & Advanced Program, and runs our Beginner Level Program effectively
- Avinash
Avinash assists Prakash and Nirmal in all their efforts. He is still an active player who
plays in the pro circuit.
Level of Coaching
Beginners Level - 1
- This introductory class uses a bigger and less bouncy ball than the standard yellow tennis ball to teach kids how to hit at a fast learning pace with fun games and drills.
- Kids will learn basic tennis techniques, rules and match play throughout the session.
Junior Development Level (Intermediate & Advanced Program)
- This group is designed for students who wish to improve their tournament play.
- This workout is high energy, intensive and fun. The focus will be on footwork, dead ball, live ball and match play drills to take your game to next level.
